Observation #2 Still a bowl

My scientific expedition continues.

I think I’m on the right track to develop a theory, but I still need more proof. And just the other day, I found another one.

I was walking around, observing the sun, asking myself: where does it go every night? And then I saw it!

The sun falls into a big bowl of salty water every evening!

But the real question remains!

Who picks it up and puts it back in the sky every morning?

Earlier findings from this scientific expedition: Observation #1 – The Edge

The Earth is flat

We all know the rainy season is not good for anything except surfing the internet. And lately it has been raining a lot in our area, so I surfed a lot. I mean on the internet, not in the rain!

I found an interesting debate about how the Earth is flat. I stand with those who argue that the Earth is not flat. If it was, the cats would have thrown everything down already. Living with cats, I should know, and I still have a few things lying around. But still, the debate was interesting. And me, being an intellectual, had to explore the matter further.

So on the first sunny day I took my hooman for a walk toward the end of the Earth. Somehow, I felt in my heart that it must be somewhere near, as we never go too far from home. So we walked. Not far, but a little further than usual. And then I saw it.

The edge of the Earth

Did we reach the edge of the world? There was a clumsily built fence above the large bowl of water. Who put it there? And why? To prevent cats from throwing things down? Hoomans are stupid. A rope on a stick will never stop cats from doing that. I needed to take a really close sniff! But my hooman did not let me step too close to the border.

Still, here it was! The sound of the wind in the pine trees gently caressed my ears. I could feel it in my snot, smell it in the air. The giant, soft, sugar-mousse mass full of… nothing. The end of the Earth looked like a giant piece of old bread in a water bowl.

It was enough to be convinced. I dropped my tail.

The Earth is surrounded by water and flat as a cat stretched on the floor.

Case closed!
